Mudgee Machinery Centre’s New Venture

Mudgee Machinery Centre has been a prominent figure in Mudgee and surrounding areas for over 10 years being a Case IH dealer and in more recent years a Mahindra tractor dealer.

We are now very pleased to announce that we are now agents for Mahindra Automotive.

Mudgee Machinery Centre is not new to the car scene.

Formally known as Thomas’ Garage, it began business in the 1950’s starting out as a Chrysler and Mitsubishi car dealer.

As the years went on, in the 1970’s they decided to play their hand in the Agricultural Machinery industry. In doing so they became involved with David Brown and later Case IH.

After years of being in both the automotive and agricultural machinery game, it was decided to give away the cars and focus on the tractors.

In 1999 the business was sold and the name changed to what it is known as today.

Around 4 years ago, Mudgee Machinery Centre took on the Mahindra tractor franchise.

And in 2010 we are excited to be expanding our business again by becoming a Mahindra Vehicle dealer.

With Mudgee’s future rapidly expanding with the mining industry booming as well as the ever growing agricultural side, we can’t think of a better time to introduce this exciting new product to the community.

AGROWPLOW

The AgrowPlow is designed for Rootbed Renovation in all soil types and conditions. The unique Agrowplow shank is set to work below the compacted plough pan to uplift and shatter it without inversion of the soil. Soil particles become aerated without violent separation while allowing greater moisture infiltration into the seed bed. This minimizes fine soil aggregates and creates conditions ideal for microbial action. Crop roots are then free to pursue moisture and nutrients deep in the soil. The Agrowplow can be successfully applied in most situations and has been used extensively in the farming of cereal, cotton, sugar, vegetables, vineyards and orchards under both dry land and irrigation farming methods.
