Silvan moves to Douglas St, South Melbourne

Silvan Produce & Hardware changes to Silvan Pumps & Sprayers (Aust.) Pty. Ltd.

UV-stabilised polyethylene linkage tanks introduced

1981

Silvan releases the 'Silvan Austrak' - one of the first self-propelled sprayers in the Australian market

1983

Silvan introduces the Turbomiser Low Volume sprayer to the Australian market

1985

Polytuff UV-Stabilised polyethylene tanks are released for all the Silvan trailed sprayers

1986

Silvan releases their PasturePak Linkage series of sprayers

1986

Silvan opens its first state office in Perth, Western Australia

1987

Silvan begins exporting to Agmark, their appointed distributor in New Zealand -

Silvan launches its first ATV Sprayer

1990

Silvan moves its Head Office and manufacturing facilities to Wantirna, Melbourne

1996

Selecta division is established to distribute its flagship range of 12-volt sprayers

1997

Silvan launches its first Website

1998

Silvan's Farm Equipment division is established to distribute a range of premier farm machinery from Italy including Nobili

1998

Silvan invests $1 million in a state-of-the-art Research and Design facility in Wantirna

1998

Silvan releases the first Annual Growers Catalogue - a publication that was to become one of the leading marketing tools in Australian agriculture

2000

Silvan moves into its new QLD office in Acacia Ridge

2001

Silvan purchases new state office in Bassendean, a surburb of Perth, Western Australia

2002

Silvan Pumps & Sprayers (Aust) Pty Ltd changes its name to Silvan Australia Pty Ltd

2002

Silvan acquires slasher, grader blade, post hole digger and harrow business to add this range to the Farm Equipment business

2005

Silvan moves to new state office in Balcatta, Western Australia

2005

Selecta introduces its Selecta Power Range

2005

Silvan acquires the Better H2O Management business and creates Silvan H2O Pty Ltd

2005

Silvan launches Silvan New Zealand Pty Limited in Hamilton, NZ

2005

Silvan acquires the Dalmore Log Splitting business to add log splitters to the growing Farm Equipment range

2006

Silvan acquires Elmhurst Trading and the Sherlock Manufacturing Group to add Hardware products, specifically Sherlock Wheelbarrows and Cyclone hand tools, to the Selecta range.

2008

Silvan moves Head Office from Wantirna South to Greens Road, Dandenong South in Melbourne

2010

Silvan launches the G2 Orchard Sprayer - the most technically advanced and safe to operate orchard / tree crop sprayer on the market. 

2010

Silvan becomes the national distributor for Breviglieri rotary tillers and power harrows. Breviglieri is a world renowned Italian manufacturer of high quality tillage equipment.
